Yuletide: Kwara First Lady Celebrate With Widows, Orphans

Today, the First Lady of Kwara State, HE Olufolake Abdulrazaq was the Special Guest of honour at the Fun Fair for orphans in Abuja. The programme which was organised by the CEO of Precious little lives initiatives, wife of the National Security Adviser(NSA), Mrs Nafisat Monguno.

Orphans and widows from different localities were empowered at the programme with various items.

The organiser of the programme thanked the First lady for her presence and support. She also noted the giant strides of the Ajike Peoples Support centre’s activities in Kwara.

Recall that, On Friday, The wife of the national security adviser (NSA) Mrs. Nafisat Mongunu and the wife of the director general of NYSC Mrs Shuaibu Ibrahim paid a courtesy visit to the first lady of kwara state in Abuja.

The duo commended Mrs Abdulrazaq on her programmes and initiatives that is designed to move the state forward, they added that empowerment through skills acquisition initiative of the first lady’s Ajike people’s support center is already yielding expected results.

The duo enjoined Mrs Abdulrazaq not to relent in her resolve to improve the standard of living of indigent kwarans.

While responding the first lady of kwara state thanked her guests and assured them that she will not relent in the pursuit of economic development and financial Independence of kwara women and indeed all kwarans. she added that her initiatives are designed to compliment the state government programmes. Her Excellency also presented to them samples of leather bags made by women under the Ajike Skill Acquisition and Empowerment Programme.

Other dignitaries at event include, the Minister of Sport, Honorable Sunday Dare, the wife of the DG NYSC, Hajia, Ibrahim and host of others.
